About Vicke Lindstrand
Vicke (Victor) Lindstrand (1904-1983) was born in Gothenburg. He started working at Orrefors in 1928 and has been represented at many exhibitions through the years including the world exhibition in New York 1939.
Orrefors is still producing Mingus, Vicke Lindstrand’s classic martini pitcher which was introduced in 1934. It is a classic design and is still represented in a permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
