The stones in the heart will have a different color every year. Each color representing one article in the UN convention of the right of a child. This year a diamond represents article 12.

Dark blue: Article 2

All rights must be granted to each child without discrimination of any kind.

Light blue: Article 3

In all actions concerning children, the best interest of the child shall be a primary consideration.

Purple: Article 6

Every child has the right to life and development.

White: Article 12

Every child has the right to express his or her opinion in all matters affecting the child and to have this taken into consideration.

Yellow: Article 19

Every child has the right to be protected from all forms of violence and abuse

Orange: Article 20

A child who cannot live with his or her family has the right to alternative care.

Green: Article 31

Every child has the right to rest, leisure and play.

Beige: Article 34

Every child has the right to protection from all forms of sexual exploitation and abuse.

Pink: Article 35

Traffic in children for any purpose or in any form must be prevented.

Red: Article 39

A child victim of neglect,

exploitation and abuse has the right to recovery and social reintegration.
